Job Overview

As a key member of our logistics services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management processes.

Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with strong numeric, oral and written communication skills, as well as broad knowledge and experience in stocktaking and warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute stocktake and spotcheck programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze and evaluate information to report discrepancies and stocktaking issues, achieving performance targets in stocktaking.
  • Conduct and record stock counts, participate in Research, Investigation, and Stocktaking processes, and collaborate with other Stocktake Coordinators and depot staff to address warehousing matters.
  • Prepare and provide relevant reports, supporting the Stocktake Governance Supervisor and participating in departmental meetings for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to Operations Group activities, undertaking small projects as required, and utilizing working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail with very good numeric, oral and written communication skills.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in stocktaking and warehouse processes.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience within the defence and/or warehousing environment would be highly advantageous.
