Job Title

Climate Risk Manager Responsible for leading the implementation and ongoing enhancement of climate risk management and sustainability reporting.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of climate risk management frameworks in alignment with industry standards.
  • Conduct advanced quantitative scenario analysis, stress testing, and physical and transition risk assessments across portfolios.
  • Apply statistical and mathematical modelling to quantify climate-related financial impacts and identify decarbonisation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for climate risk management processes and practices.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects related to climate strategy and reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as environmental science, finance, or engineering; postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
  • Minimum 5–7 years experience in climate-related financial analysis, scenario modelling, and sustainability reporting within superannuation, institutional investment, or asset management.
  • Experience in GHG emissions accounting using recognised standards and tracking net-zero targets, energy efficiency, and renewable energy metrics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel Advanced; experience with ESG platforms and tools.
