Job Summary

The role of IT Infrastructure Manager involves overseeing the operational efficiency and reliability of enterprise systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain optimal performance, availability, and security of IT infrastructure across Defence environments.
  • Provide prompt support to end users by diagnosing and resolving system issues, with collaboration from engineering teams for escalated matters.
  • Manage configuration changes in line with established protocols and change management procedures.
  • Elevate security standards, ensure timely updates, and provide necessary assistance for accreditation and audit activities.
Essential Skills
  • Infrastructure Administration Expertise – Strong experience in server administration, virtualisation (e.g., VMware), and networking fundamentals.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance – Familiarity with defence security standards, patching, system hardening, and accreditation processes.
  • IT Service Management – Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes; ability to maintain accurate documentation.
