Pedagogical Mentor Role

We are seeking a dedicated and visionary educator to join our vibrant school community as a Pedagogical Mentor. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in shaping the future of teaching and learning.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with school leadership to develop and build the capacity of teachers to learn, teach, and lead. Key responsibilities include:

  • Modeling high-quality teaching within and across the school community
  • Working collaboratively with teachers to develop and refine teaching practice
  • Inviting teachers to participate in coaching cycles to improve an identified area of practice
  • Drawing on research, data, feedback, and reflection
  • Supporting the work of professional learning teams, including faculties
  • Providing professional learning to staff

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Qualifications as a four-year trained teacher
  • A minimum of five years classroom teaching experience
  • Current accreditation from NESA
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check number
  • Anaphylaxis training completed
