We are seeking an experienced Project Mechanical Engineer to join a leading civil infrastructure delivery team in Sydney. This role will focus on water pumping stations and pipeline projects, with a strong emphasis on procurement and design review activities.

  • Conduct and manage mechanical design reviews for water pumping stations and associated pipeline infrastructure
  • Oversee procurement activities, including supplier engagement, tender evaluations, and contract administration
  • Liaise with designers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure technical compliance and project timelines are met
  • Provide engineering input during construction to ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are maintained

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline) and proven experience in water infrastructure projects, ideally with pumping stations and pipelines. They should also possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

This is a 4-month temporary contract with ASAP start. The successful candidate will be based in Sydney and will be responsible for working closely with the project team to deliver high-quality results.
