Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Children's Services

About the Role
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Children's Services is a pivotal role leading policy, engagement, and strategy development in a dedicated part of the agency focused on how best to address children's needs. This new group will co-design a system of best practice early childhood supports that intersect with non-scheme supports that align the Agency's existing early childhood approach with the Government's Early Years Strategy.

With a proven background in executive roles within the public sector or aligned contexts, you bring strategic insight and hands-on expertise to advance the NDIA's mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead policy and strategy reform that improves outcomes for children with disability and those with substantial developmental delay.
- Develop and implement effective engagement strategies to build relationships with stakeholders and the community.
- Contribute to decision making across the organisation to ensure a culture of high performance, delivery, and innovation.
