About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Control Automation & Assurance team in Retail Banking Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing control testing activities in line with the automated controls assurance framework for RBS.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Execute control testing activities in line with the automated controls assurance framework for RBS.
  • Assist the RBS Line 1 Risk teams embed effective controls within the RBS business by providing robust feedback where required and recommending appropriate enhancements.
  • Support RBS in optimizing their assurance activities through the implementation of continuous assurance (monitoring), automated assurance, and tooling platforms.
  • Identify, lead, and manage continuous improvement of the business control environment by using data to generate insights, recommendations, and support implementation of new initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in auditing Automated / Semi Automated Business Process Controls or IT General controls with knowledge of areas such as Continuous Control Testing, Benchmarking, and advanced analytical testing procedures.
  • Ability to think critically and analytically and use data-driven insights to solve problems.
  • A strong understanding of software development lifecycle and implementation testing.
  • Influencing and consulting skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • BU specific – business commercial aptitude and knowledge.
  • SQL and programming skills are desirable.
