Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill a unique position within our organisation.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing specialized activity programs and social activities to promote the psychological, social and physical wellbeing of residents in a thriving residential aged care community.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Collaborating with residents and staff to deliver high-quality services
  • Overseeing a team of lifestyle officers to ensure effective program implementation
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with residents, families and stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Providing administrative support as required

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure, previous experience managing a small team, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additionally, the successful applicant will have:

  • Previous experience working within an aged care setting (an advantage)
  • A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one on employment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of older people
