About the Role

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing person-centred care and creating a positive impact on the lives of residents. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing lifestyle programs based on individual needs and preferences
  • Providing support and guidance to new residents as they settle into the community
  • Maintaining accurate records of participation and outcomes of lifestyle activities
  • Advocating for residents' rights and addressing any concerns or requests
  • Ensuring compliance with aged care quality standards and policies
  • Collaborating with nursing staff to evaluate residents' wellbeing and provide updates

Desirable qualifications and skills include:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or related field
  • Awareness of dementia care principles and practices
  • Experience in aged care documentation and record-keeping
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures
