Payroll Leadership Opportunity

As a Payroll Manager, you will be accountable for all payroll activities ensuring accurate, timely and compliant pay. You will work closely with the global payroll team to redefine standardize control and continually improve pay impacting processes.

  • Accountable for payroll processing ensuring accurate timely and compliant pay including base pay stock compensation payroll taxes pension statutory and supplemental benefits.
  • Continually identify and assess risks making data driven decisions using a risk management framework to build a risk aware culture ensuring safe and compliant performance outcomes in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
  • Proactive engagement with multiple senior stakeholders third party providers regulators and tax authorities.
  • Lead and support all team members through the implementation of change impacting Australia payroll including the implementation of a Global Payroll Strategy.
  • Foster innovation of ideas and initiatives across payroll to drive continuous improvement to streamline and optimize operational effectiveness.
  • Drive team performance to build a high performing culture and continually improve team and individual capabilities and engagement.

Required skills and qualifications include significant experience leading a large-scale payroll with detailed operational and regulatory experience of Australia payroll. Deep experience identifying operational risk and implementing controls to mitigate such risk within payroll. Experience leading or executing payroll projects e.g. payroll outsourcing implementation of local regulatory changes.
