
Global Payroll Specialist

The role of Payroll Manager is to oversee all payroll activities, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant pay. This includes base pay, stock compensation, payroll taxes, pension, statutory and supplemental benefits.
You will be accountable for payroll processing in Australia, maintaining global consistency where possible. Your role will also include continually identifying and assessing risks, making data driven decisions using our risk management framework.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring accurate, timely and compliant pay for employees in Australia
- Identifying and assessing risks in payroll processes and implementing controls to mitigate such risk
- Leading and supporting team members through change impacting Australia payroll, including the implementation of our Global Payroll Strategy
- Driving team performance to build a high performing culture and improve team and individual capabilities and engagement
Significant experience of leading a large-scale payroll with detailed operational & regulatory experience of Australia payroll is required.
Deep experience of identifying operational risk and implementing controls to mitigate such risk within payroll is also essential.
Experience of leading and/or executing payroll projects, empowering, coaching, and mentoring colleagues to ensure the team's objectives can be achieved, strong leadership, influencing, facilitation & stakeholder management skills across all levels of management, sound judgmental skills to identify and resolve challenges and issues that protect and enhance our values, reputation, and commercial interests are also necessary.
Excellent planning and organizational skills, SAP payroll experience and LEAN and/or Six Sigma Accreditation are preferred but not mandatory.
