Job Title

Expert Consulting Services Manager is responsible for providing guidance, advice and support to the consulting management team.

This individual will assist the sales team with sales activities such as orals, estimations, and Statements of Work. They will work closely with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Managing Consultants, and leads acting as a liaison between the consulting team and executive management.

The successful candidate will identify business needs, staff projects, and ensure the work/life balance of consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight responsibility for projects across the practice.
  • Assist Engagement Managers and team members to identify project needs, reduce risk, and develop solutions and strategies.
Sales Support:
  • Support the RFP response and pursuit process for Consulting work.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a diverse remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications.
  • Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; build consensus and achieve goals through influence.
People Development:
  • Perform role of mentor and coach.
  • Analyze team skills and provide cross training to maintain teams' ability to staff projects appropriately.
Performance Management:
  • Establish direct reports' goals and objectives during bi-annual review process.
  • Direct collection of performance feedback from customers and engagement/project managers on a quarterly basis or upon completion of project for your entire team.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
  • Possess 3-5 years of Workday (or other ERP) Consulting implementation experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience leading a virtual team.
  • Fast learner, detail oriented, decisive, enjoy fast paced work environments.
  • Must work well within and across teams to get things accomplished.
  • Possess sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects.
