We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Consultant in the Child and Family Health Service. This is a short-term contract opportunity until 30 May 2025.
The successful candidate will provide clinical nursing expertise and leadership to our team, supporting the client population experiencing a wide range of complexities. As a Nurse Consultant, you will be responsible for training, mentoring, and evaluating programs, as well as providing clinical leadership to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership to staff and coordinate projects and programs that contribute to improved client outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve early childhood health, development, and wellbeing outcomes.
- Train and mentor staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate programs and services to ensure they are meeting the needs of our clients.
Requirements:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- At least 3 years post-registration experience in a clinical setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
