About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking garden maintenance team.

We deliver a range of services to our community, from parks and galleries to shopping hubs and leisure facilities.

Our outdoor facilities are a key part of life in the municipality, with one of the largest networks of open space including over 300 parks.

  • Deliver garden maintenance services across the municipality's parks and gardens, focusing on soft landscaping.
  • Work to a structured program using technology, contributing to planting and landscape upgrades in parks, gardens, and streetscapes.
  • Collaborate with various departments and interact with the public.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualification and experience in maintaining high-quality urban landscapes.
  • Proven history in garden maintenance and ability to organise resources effectively.
  • Ability to assess situations, arrive at work solutions, and show judgment when to contact/advise your supervisor.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in operating plant and equipment used in landscape maintenance.
  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
