Bechtel Corporation seeks a highly skilled Civil Designer to join their team in a challenging infrastructure planning role.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in civil engineering design and drafting, with expertise in OpenRoads Designer software. A strong understanding of design and drafting techniques, as well as knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, is essential.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to work on complex civil engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project scope, schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements.

As a Civil Designer at Bechtel, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing designs for complete and complex civil engineering systems, including earthwork, drainage, and road design
  • Preparation of layouts, study drawings, detailed 2-D and 3-D CAD models, and construction drawings
  • Collaboration with other designers and drafters to ensure accurate and reliable designs
  • Participation in constructability reviews and monitoring of work for compliance with approved design standards
