Physical Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure datacenter environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement physical access control and video systems for new datacenter deployments.
  • Oversee the security systems design for access control and video programming to ensure compliance with industry standards and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support physical security systems and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
  • Analyze data related to security system health and identify gaps, trends, and compliance issues.
  • Develop strategic plans to address large-scale issues and improve processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Manage the lifecycle of physical security systems, including site meetings with security operations and facility management teams.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services with internal and external providers.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience managing and administering physical security systems, including lifecycle management of security devices, video server configuration, SIEM, and incident response.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Able to meet security screening requirements, upon hire and every two years.
  • Preferred certifications include Lenel, Milestone, CISSP, CISA, CISM, SANS, GCIA, GCIH, OSCP, Security+.
