Job Title: Environmental Health Specialist

As an Environmental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to prevent incidents and illnesses through risk management processes, emergency response planning, and safety protocols in datacenter operations.

You will ensure a safe and healthy working environment by identifying potential risks and hazards, implementing controls to mitigate these risks, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

This role is crucial in ensuring the safe delivery of core infrastructure and foundational technologies, fostering professional growth as a safety expert, and being part of our esteemed Global EHS Team.

The Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) group focuses on delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies for online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

Our global infrastructure consists of over 200 datacenters across 32 countries, serving more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses worldwide.

We prioritize environmental sustainability in our datacenter design and operations, continuously striving to improve as a world-class cloud provider.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field AND 6+ years experience in Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations OR equivalent experience.

Able to meet Microsoft security screening requirements, including a Microsoft Cloud Background Check, are required for this role.
