Operations Administrator Role

This role involves providing administrative support to our transport operations team.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to work accurately with data, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate and reconcile transport and freight invoices, ensuring accuracy and raising discrepancies as necessary.
  • Maintain and update key transport documentation in accordance with Chain of Responsibility requirements.
  • Utilize Excel to track, review, and report on freight costs, order turnaround, and delivery performance.
  • Liaise with carriers, warehouse staff, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely dispatch processes.
  • Support general administrative duties within the operations team, including maintaining records, responding to enquiries, and assisting with project rollouts.
  • Contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
  • A keen eye for detail and numbers is essential.
  • Experience with invoice processing tools, such as Redmap, is advantageous.
  • Strong Excel skills, with confidence working across spreadsheets and reports, are required.
  • Previous experience in an admin role within a transport, logistics, or warehousing environment is desirable.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills are necessary.
  • A proactive and team-focused attitude, along with the ability to work independently, is essential.
