Transportation Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Operations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation processes, coordinating with multiple carriers and internal stakeholders to achieve timely and efficient delivery of goods.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about logistics and operations management. As a Transportation Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and sending daily reports, communicating with the Outbound dock team and NOC, coordinating with carriers, and monitoring FC operations departments to ensure all trailers arrive and depart on time.

You will also consolidate data from multiple sources to generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, identify patterns that could be proactively mitigated, and engage carrier drivers and delivery drivers as needed to maintain yard organization, safety, and minimize delays.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need experience working within a fast-paced logistics or operations environment, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 20 kilos, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

You must also be able to work 38 hours/week, and overtime as required, and have a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
