Senior First Nations Liaison Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as the Manager of First Nations Engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with First Nations communities, stakeholders, and organizations.
About the Role:- The role involves developing and implementing strategies for engaging with First Nations communities in a respectful manner.
- Facilitating partnerships between our organization and Indigenous groups to promote mutual understanding and collaboration.
- Coordinating events, workshops, and initiatives that support reconciliation efforts.
- Advocating for Indigenous rights within the organization and externally.
- Providing cultural competency training for staff members.
- Bachelor's degree in Indigenous studies, social work, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role.
- Demonstrated commitment to advancing reconciliation efforts.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to Indigenous rights.
- Ability to travel occasionally for meetings or events.
- A full-time position based in Australia.
