Maintenance Professional

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our hotel team as a Maintenance Professional. We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to maintain the upkeep of our property, ensuring that guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas are always in top condition.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who can perform both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, handling a variety of tasks to keep the hotel running smoothly. This will include:

  • Performing scheduled planned preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
  • Completing reactive maintenance tasks when a job is logged in our management system.
  • Fixing issues within rooms to return them to service quickly and efficiently.
  • Managing contractors on-site when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience in building maintenance.
  • Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems or similar.
  • Trade experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting and decorating, or plastering.
  • Computer literacy (for compliance and audit tasks).
