Job Title: Tax Professional

As a Tax Senior Associate, you will play a key role in preparing tax returns for clients across various industries and entities. Your expertise in tax planning, client interaction, and special tax projects will drive business growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares individual, business, and other types of tax returns for clients.
  • Collaborates with the tax team to ensure all components of the tax process are performed efficiently.
  • Gathers relevant tax-related information from clients to prepare accurate tax returns.
  • Identifies opportunities for maximum tax benefit and develops solutions to communicate with the engagement team and clients.
  • Prepares accounting-related reports through a paperless office environment.
  • Mentors lower-level employees in the tax department.
  • Attends training seminars, professional development, and networking events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Active CPA license or working towards obtaining CPA license preferred; Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted.
  • 2-4 years of tax experience within public accounting.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date on changing tax industry regulations and policies.
  • Self-starter who enjoys working independently and in a team environment.
  • Focused on complex tasks and able to quickly understand comprehensive compliance processes.
