About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate tax returns by gathering relevant information from clients and analyzing their tax situations to maximize benefits
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate tax returns for clients across various industries
  • Collaborate with the tax team to develop solutions and communicate them to the engagement team and clients
  • Train and mentor lower-level employees in the tax department
  • Attend training seminars and professional development events to stay updated on tax industry regulations and policies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Active CPA license or working towards obtaining license preferred; Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted
  • 2-4 years of tax experience within public accounting
  • Well-rounded knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations
  • Self-starter who can work independently and in a collaborative environment
