Trainee Educator Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Educator to join our team at C&K QUT Kelvin Grove Childcare Centre. As a Trainee Educator, you will be part of a supportive team of educators and trainers, working with children from 6 weeks to 5 years old.

We are a multi-cultural service, with many families from diverse backgrounds. Our centre's inclusive culture is a great aspect of working with us. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.

Your dedicated trainer will guide you through your journey, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge to succeed in your role. You will be supported in developing meaningful relationships with children and their families, as well as contributing to the centre's commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The successful applicant will need to commit to completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care through the C&K College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care through the C&K College
  • Work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Hold a Paid Blue Card or be willing to obtain one
  • Have a current Police Check or be willing to obtain one

C&K College of Early Childhood is a Nationally Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering training to early childhood educators and carers since 1998.
