Logistics Operations Manager

This is a great opportunity to work in facilities and logistics support for international government clients in the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to provide efficient day-to-day operations of the office, including facilities, logistics, and warehouse management
  • Oversee maintenance and operation of the facility, ensuring optimal functioning and safety in alignment with policies and regulations
  • Anticipate business needs, managing multiple priorities in a proactive manner
  • Develop and maintain processes and procedures

The Logistics Operations Manager will be responsible for strategic planning and management of logistics, warehouse, transportation/shipping, and export compliance. Directing, optimizing, and coordinating logistics cycles is also key to this role.

Day-to-Day Activities
  • Liaise and negotiate with service providers
  • Manage stock quality inspections, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and delivery efficiency
  • Arrange warehouse goods, plan delivery routes, and process shipments
  • Supervise and train warehouse workforce
  • Management and supervision of external maintenance and cleaning staff
Requirements
  • Highly developed personal skills, including working experience as a Logistics and Facilities Manager
  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management, including export controls
  • Demonstratable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Hold a forklift license or be prepared to obtain one
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
