Taxation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team at MW Recruitment. As a key member of our accounting practice, you will be responsible for reviewing and preparing financial statements and tax returns for a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities- Review and prepare financial statements and tax returns for all entity types (excluding SMSFs)
- Liaise with clients to provide top-tier advice for financial growth and maintain long-term partnerships
- Manage and review a team of accountants, guiding them on their professional journey
- 5-6+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm
- CA/CPA completion, given the seniority of the role
- Expertise in producing financial statements and tax returns for all entities (SMSFs not necessary)
- Proficiency in Division 7A, CGT, PSI, and FBT matters
- Ability to mentor, train, and review junior staff members' work
- Strong communication skills for client liaison and retention
- Ambition to excel and a genuine interest in equity pathways (if desired)
