Key Responsibilities- Developing Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with clients to support and expand our services.
- Employment Tax Advice: Provide expert advice and assistance to clients on employment tax matters, including FBT, Payroll Tax, Salary Packaging, Workers' Compensation, and Superannuation Guarantee.
- Due Diligence Services: Conduct employment taxes due diligence services for clients.
- Employee Share Scheme Advice: Provide advice and reporting on employee share schemes.
- Individual Tax Residency Advice: Provide inbound and outbound individual tax residency advice.
- Financial Account Preparation: Review client files and prepare first draft financial accounts and tax documents for management review.
- Complex Accounting Engagements: Demonstrate an eagerness to develop skills to prepare and deliver on complex accounting and taxation engagements that consistently exceed client expectations.
- Client Service: Be a regular point of contact for clients to assist in managing workflow and client expectations, ensuring consistency in exceptional client service.
- Team Development: Delegate with responsibility to team members and assist with developing junior members of the team.
- Qualifications: Degree qualified (accounting and/or law are highly regarded), with completed or current CA/CPA/TIA qualification.
- Experience: Experience in the application of various employment taxation matters in a professional environment.
- Skills: Strong time management skills, ability to manage conflicting deadlines, and interpret relevant legislation.
- Personal Qualities: Inquisitive, enjoy legal research, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
