About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to work with us in supporting and guiding clients to achieve suitable, meaningful employment opportunities. As an Employment Consultant, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients, identifying their needs, and developing personalized plans to help them achieve their employment goals.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including job seekers, employers, and community organizations.
  • Assess job seeker skills and abilities, identify barriers to employment, and develop strategies to overcome these challenges.
  • In consultation with job seekers, develop and implement work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, and tailored interventions to support employment outcomes.
  • Reverse market job seekers to secure sustainable employment opportunities.
  • Provide pre-employment assistance through vocational counseling, training, and job search skills to increase capacity for employment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in customer service or a related field, preferably in the employment services sector.
  • Ability to use computer systems and software applications, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of employment services principles and practices, with a commitment to supporting vulnerable populations.
