The Royal Freemasons community is seeking a skilled and dedicated Food Services Assistant to join our team at Centennial Lodge Residential Aged Care Facility in South Wartina.

As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe provision of quality food and beverage services to our residents. This includes preparing, serving, and presenting meals that meet the individual nutritional requirements and preferences of each resident.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the dining rooms, as well as ensuring that the correct food and beverages are served to each resident according to their dietary needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of dining rooms;
  • Preparing, serving, and presenting meals in accordance with our Food Safety Program;
  • Ensuring accurate delivery of food and beverages to meet individual resident needs;
  • Providing exceptional customer service to residents during meal times, while maintaining a professional demeanor.

In addition to your culinary skills, you will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively work with residents, colleagues, and management.

It is essential to note that this role requires a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, as well as vaccination against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and the Flu-Vaccine. You will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
