As a Cellar Operations Coordinator , you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand by delivering outstanding experiences for our guests and fostering lasting relationships with our clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Share your enthusiasm and expertise in wine to create unforgettable experiences for our visitors. Drive sales of our premium wine selections, aligning with established targets. Lead, mentor, and develop the cellar team to achieve peak performance. Engage in technical tastings, providing insights from a consumer perspective. Promote memberships to our exclusive Wine Club. Manage and enhance our customer and visitor databases. Oversee stock management and record all inventory movements. Collaborate with tourism partners to facilitate group visits and tastings. Conduct opening and closing procedures for the venue. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing strategies to mitigate risks.Candidate Profile:
Proven knowledge of wine, with WSET Level 2 certification or higher. Strong administrative skills. In-depth understanding of the wine industry. Experience in team leadership, including talent identification and recruitment. Excellent customer service, communication, and leadership abilities. Strong drive for results and effective communication skills. Availability to work on weekends and public holidays. Familiarity with booking platforms, or willingness to learn.
