Project Coordinator Role

BDO is seeking a Project Coordinator to play a key role in delivering high-impact projects that enhance operational efficiency and strategic alignment.

Your main responsibilities will include managing project risk, quality, and progress to meet organisational standards and deadlines, while serving as a trusted business partner for key Service Lines and supporting business improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the full project lifecycle ensuring outcomes meet business objectives.
  • Engage stakeholders to align on project goals, manage expectations and deliver results.
  • Lead small project teams coordinating with consultants and vendors.
  • Develop negotiate and oversee contracts or project agreements.
  • Proactively manage project risks and apply BDO's risk management framework to maintain quality and integrity.
  • Control costs adhere to schedules and maintain project scope and quality.
  • Implement change management strategies to meet evolving project needs.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress including metrics on schedule cost and risk.
  • Apply relevant project management methodologies for structured project execution.

Requirements:
  • Relevant project management certifications and experience in complex environments.
  • Experience leading small project teams.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Experience implementing change management strategies.
  • Ability to prepare detailed reports on project progress.
