About the Role

The Financial Systems Officer is responsible for providing specialist financial systems support, database administration services, and performing reporting or analysis activities. This role collaborates between internal and external users and service providers to monitor, maintain, diagnose, and troubleshoot system, database, and reporting-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and improving internal controls to ensure the integrity and availability of financial information
  • Participating in financial system projects and business process reviews
  • Assisting in other finance and budgetary matters as directed

Qualifications

Essential: Nil

Desirable:

  • An appropriate degree or diploma with significant computing content and/or relevant industry experience
  • An appropriate degree or diploma in Accountancy or related field

Special Conditions

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to being employed, which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN-EC Facilitator Lead extended course or the online Fundamentals course, which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration

$85,790 - $95,413 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
