Customer Service Team Member

Baptist Care SA collaborates with South Australians from all walks of life, providing Camping and Adventure Programs, Disability Services, Homelessness Services, Out of Home Care and Youth, Family and Community Programs.

The Program Details

Our Adventure Pathways offer roles at two locations: Mylor Adventure Camp near Adelaide and Wirraway Homestead in Strathalbyn. These sites cater to small and large groups seeking outdoor experiences that connect them with nature, others, and themselves.

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking casual hospitality team members to join our customer service team. As a hospitality assistant, you will assist with meal preparation, serving, and accommodation cleaning to ensure a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Tasks Include:

  • Assisting with meal preparation and serving under the guidance of Hospitality staff
  • Helping with clean up after meals and ensuring food safety standards
  • Regularly washing dishes, mopping, and sanitizing work areas
  • Supporting the cleanliness of accommodations, including tasks like vacuuming, mopping, and bathroom cleaning

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must be an industrious person passionate about food and hospitality. You should also have basic knowledge of safety and hygiene practices, good communication skills, and attention to detail.

Specific Requirements

Applicants must undergo a DHS Child-Related Employment Screening/Working With Children Check, National Police Clearance, and Safe Environments for Children and Young People training.
