About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Yard Hand. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our trucks are maintained, schedules are met, and customers receive their packages and parcels on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general yard duties, including vehicle maintenance and cleaning
  • Drive our modern trucks within the yard to designated bays, ranging from HR to MC
  • Assist with scheduling and logistics to ensure efficient delivery operations
  • Work overtime where available, with potential for ongoing permanent employment
  • Day or Nightshift positions available, with competitive casual rates
About You
  • You hold a valid HC or MC license and are available to work from October through our peak period
  • You are safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
  • You are prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo an Australia Post specific pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening, and national police checks

  • A regular shift time and the opportunity to work with a great team
  • A higher rate of pay applies for applicable shifts (penalty rates)
  • A 12% superannuation rate and potential for ongoing work beyond the peak season
