Job Title: Department Head

This role requires a dedicated professional to oversee daily store operations, manage a team of staff and volunteers, and drive sales targets.

  • Lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain high-quality merchandise displays and meet sales targets.
  • Develop strategies to attract and retain customers, donors and volunteers.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, including local communities, suppliers and partners.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports and data analysis to inform business decisions.

The ideal candidate has:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in retail management, with demonstrated leadership skills and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Knowledge of fashion and clothing brands, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Sound computer skills and ability to supervise and provide direction to a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

The Department Head will be responsible for:

  1. Overseeing daily store operations, including staffing, stock management and customer service.
  2. Managing a team of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and improve customer engagement.
  4. Maintaining accurate records and reports, including sales data and customer information.
