Early Psychosis Clinician: We are seeking a skilled clinician to join our Mobile Assessment Treatment Team at headspace Early Psychosis in Canberra. The successful candidate will provide holistic support to young people navigating their first episode of early psychosis, focusing on prevention and reducing the duration of untreated psychosis.

About the Role
  • The clinician will provide ongoing clinical care to young people, focusing on symptom relief and stress management.
  • Support young people in setting and achieving recovery goals.
  • Address co-occurring challenges such as substance misuse through tailored planning and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records using the Master Care EMR system.

Our team operates under the renowned Orygen EPPIC model, ensuring young people receive world-class early intervention treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive care to young people with early psychosis.
  • Provide individualized support for each client's needs and circumstances.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address mental health concerns.
What We Are Looking For
  • Approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and provisional or full AHPRA registration (or registration with an appropriate professional body).
  • Experience in youth mental health or early psychosis is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work on-site at headspace Canberra, with some remote and community-based work.
