Gastroenterology Consultant

Bendigo Health Medical Services is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team. As a Consultant Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

• Provide clinical services in Gastroenterology, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including interns and registrars.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

• A medical degree and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Experience in Gastroenterology, including clinical and research experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
