Job Description

Flying Bark Productions is a renowned independent producer of family-focused animation entertainment. We are seeking a highly skilled Compositing Supervisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the CG Supervisor and Producer in bidding, scheduling, and executing the compositing production schedule.
  • Assign and delegate work to the compositing team, monitoring shot progress and ensuring timely completion.
  • Enhance the look of final 2D animation images or CG renders through compositing techniques.
  • Maintain the creative and technical requirements for final images, as required by the VFX Supervisor or Animation Director.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Nuke compositing software, with experience in layering elements, matte projections, and color grading.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise a team of compositors and evaluate their creative and technical approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to participate in crew selection, attend client calls, and track client notes.
  • A good understanding of color space, grading, and composition.
