Emergency Care Nursing Specialist

The Enrolled Nurse plays a pivotal role in the Emergency Department, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic multi-disciplinary team.
This challenging yet rewarding position requires strong communication skills, independence, and collaboration with colleagues to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic life support certification and relevant clinical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Working in the Emergency Department at Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai Hospital, you will be part of a large and diverse team providing care to Adult and Paediatric patients across a wide spectrum of trauma, surgical, medical and mental health presentations.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be supported by a structured training pathway designed on an individual basis by the ED Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE).
