Our Opportunity
Located in Perth, Western Australia, this exciting role presents a unique chance to contribute to Fortescue's efforts in becoming a cyber resilient and trusted organisation.
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Risk Advisor to join our team. In this key position, you will play a vital role in securing Fortescue's information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cyber risk assessments, creating risk treatment plans, and advising the business on compliance with configuration standards and best practice frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular cyber risk assessments and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity risk management into all business processes.
- Conduct vulnerability management activities to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging regulatory requirements and advise the business accordingly.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- General or specific Cyber Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CRISC).
- Experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools and security frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
