The Opportunity

The General Counsel leads a small team of lawyers advising on corporate and commercial law arrangements, including technology contracts and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all litigation for the company, including commercial dispute resolution and pre-litigation advice.
  • Act as Company Secretary on matters of legal and corporate governance.
  • Oversee insurance portfolios and leasing arrangements from a legal perspective.
  • Support the People & Culture team on industrial relations / employment rights issues.
  • Negotiate major deals with Sales or Line of Business personnel.
  • Assist with customer tender responses, reviewing and preparing legal responses to terms and conditions.
