About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives in the Fujitsu Defence portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an OH&S strategy, working closely with Regional and Site Managers to ensure a safe working environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an OH&S strategy aligned with Defence Leadership team goals
  • Work closely with Regional and Site Managers to ensure compliance with OH&S standards
  • Conduct incident investigations and perform audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and deliver safety initiatives to improve OH&S culture
  • Collaborate with operational teams to implement and assure Fujitsu standards
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience managing safety in high-risk multisite environments (Defence experience desirable)
  • OH&S Degree or equivalent, membership of professional body (desirable)
  • Experience in implementing and developing an OH&S culture
  • Excellent communications skills, including building relationships and influencing change
  • Incident investigation experience
  • Experience conducting audits/Lead auditor qualifications
  • Able to work independently and to tight deadlines
  • Good IT skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, intranet)
  • Ability to visit sites nationally
  • Security clearances required
