Bindaree Food Group is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Training Advisor to join our team at Monbeef. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for providing effective health, safety, and training services to our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and champion a positive health and safety culture across the site by conducting site walks and engaging with leaders and team members.
  • Promote and support the identification of health and safety hazards, risks, and risk controls in liaison with department managers/supervisors and ensure the provision of relevant Safe Work Instructions.
  • Coordinate the H&S Critical Risk Management Program to keep our senior leaders focused on being proactive.
  • Coordinate the Site Safety Committee to ensure priority issues for team members are heard and resolved.
  • Facilitate event investigations and closure of corrective actions.
  • Deliver induction to new team members.
  • Creation and review of Safe Work Instructions.
  • Assess team members' competency in skill-based activities.
  • Own all external training coordination for site team members.
Requirements
  • You have experience in a similar role, including incident investigation and risk assessments, ideally within a manufacturing or similar blue-collar industry.
  • You may have tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety, or are keen to acquire.
  • You're able to build rapport easily and can lead others with or without authority.
  • You're highly organized and can manage multiple priorities comfortably.
