Job Description

The Chief First Nations Health Officer is a pivotal role that fosters the growth and prominence of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health throughout Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of strategic initiatives aimed at bridging health equity gaps for First Nations peoples.
  • Provide expert advice to senior executives on state, national, and international matters affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in advocacy and leadership roles focused on advancing health equity strategies for First Nations peoples.
