Job Summary

Job Connect Recruitment is seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join Mapei Australia, a global leader in the building industry. As a key member of the HR team, you will provide end-to-end HR and employee relations support to drive business outcomes and maintain compliance with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on legislative and policy changes, systems, and key people management issues to business units
  • Support the business with key HR processes and initiatives in talent management, employee engagement, and retention, performance management, and policy review
  • Deliver smooth and compliant onboarding and induction processes
  • Support the business in developing current policies and procedures aligned to best practice within a human resource setting
  • Assist with key projects within the HR team
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Management, or equivalent/related discipline
  • At least 6 years demonstrated experience working in an HR Advisory capacity with strong practical and technical grounding
  • Intermediate IT skills, full Microsoft Suite, HRIS, Oracle HR & Compensation, Payroll (view and reporting), e Learning, Share Point
  • Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Manufacturing highly regarded
  • Well-developed time management, interpersonal, and written skills to carry out projects across teams and liaise with a range of varied employees
