Job Connect Recruitment is seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join Mapei Australia, a global leader in the building industry. As a key member of the HR team, you will provide end-to-end HR support to ensure the company maintains excellent performance in employee retention, employee relations, and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on legislative and policy changes, systems, and key people management issues to business units.
  • Support the business with key HR processes and initiatives in talent management, employee engagement, and retention, performance management, and policy review.
  • Offer specialist advice on Acts, Regulations, Awards, Industrial Agreements, Legislation, and their effect on current/future Policies and Procedures.
  • Deliver smooth and compliant onboarding and induction processes.
  • Support the business in developing current policies and procedures aligned to best practice within a human resource setting.
  • Assist with key Projects within the HR Team.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Management, or equivalent/related discipline.
  • At least 6 years demonstrated experience working in an HR Advisory capacity with strong practical and technical grounding.
  • Intermediate IT skills, full Microsoft Suite, HRIS, Oracle HR & Compensation, Payroll (view and reporting), eLearning, SharePoint are all preferable.
  • Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Manufacturing will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in collaborating with operational and administrative teams to achieve goals or outcomes.
  • Well-developed time management, interpersonal, and written skills to carry out projects across teams and liaise with a range of varied employees to achieve goals.
  • Experience in Project design and roll-outs highly regarded.
