Job Title: Senior Construction Engineer

This is a full-time hire offering security and development in a rapidly growing business. As a Senior Construction Engineer, you will be responsible for managing designers, overcoming design issues, interfacing with clients, procurement of materials, forecasting, weekly reporting, and overseeing work delivered by subcontractors.

You will also be expected to mentor junior engineers and have experience working in a brownfield construction environment. A degree-qualified Civil Engineer or equivalent is required, as well as at least 5 years' site-based construction experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage designers and overcome design issues
  • Interface with clients
  • Procurement of materials
  • Forecasting and weekly reporting
  • Oversee work delivered by subcontractors
  • Mentor junior engineers

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' site-based construction experience
  • Degree-qualified Civil Engineer or equivalent
  • Must have building construction experience
  • Experience working in a brownfield construction environment is preferred

About the Company:

We are a national Tier 2 Contractor/Builder that primarily focuses on Building and Civil Infrastructure upgrade within the Rail corridor. We are growing rapidly in SE QLD and have recently secured x2 Infrastructure Upgrades for our key client Queensland Rail.
