About the Role

The Manawari Project Officer is a key position within the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous) at Macquarie University. This role is responsible for supporting the facilitation of Manawari Cultural Training to a wide external audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the administration of Online Manawari Staff and Student training, including establishing session dates, times, and venues.
  • Evaluate participant assessments and provide feedback.
  • Assist with face-to-face delivery of the training.
  • Collaborate with the Indigenous Corporate Engagement Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the training program.
About You

We are seeking an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with a demonstrated knowledge of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander values, connections, and knowledges. The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent organisational and administration skills.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills, including phone and email communication, and presentation delivery.
  • Demonstrated contribution to achieving positive outcomes for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $96,273 to $106,270 per annum, plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading. We also offer a range of benefits, including flexible work arrangements and professional development opportunities.
