Lead Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer to lead and mentor a team of Infrastructure Analysts and Coordinators to maintain consistent service delivery.

  • The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in VMware, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
  • They should also have strong scripting and automation proficiency (Terraform, Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience with Windows Server and Linux OS administration (RHEL, CentOS, Debian) is also required.
  • Familiarity with managing databases in infrastructure environments (Oracle, SQL) is a plus.
  • The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios, Prometheus).
  • A solid understanding of ITIL frameworks; ITIL v4 certification is preferred.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels are essential.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Infrastructure Analysts and Coordinators.
  • Serve as the escalation point for advanced infrastructure issues.
  • Oversee system availability and performance across test, pre-production, and production environments.
  • Collaborate closely with security, application, and DevOps teams.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on automation, cloud strategies, and infrastructure optimization.
  • Manage monitoring tools and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement to communicate infrastructure health, risks, and project updates.
  • Oversee capacity management and cost control across both on-premise and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Infrastructure Support, IT Operations, or a related field.
  • Deep technical expertise in VMware, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
