We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join our dynamic team at VR Distribution in Adelaide, Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record in a similar role.

You will work closely with various departments, including off-shore head office, providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations to drive the company's strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis to support business decision-making and strategy development.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business performance and evaluate potential opportunities.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with operational teams to understand their financial needs and provide guidance on financial matters.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
  • Implement and manage a perpetual inventory system approved by auditors to ensure accurate and timely inventory reporting.
  • Utilize financial tools such as HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), Power BI, and Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A CPA, CFA, or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in FP&A.
  • Preferably experience working in an international group.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication (internal & external) and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools, specifically HFM, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to act as a business partner.
